What edutrips are for
Edutrips are educational tour programs I run for school groups, university faculties, family groups with curious kids, and adult travellers who'd rather learn something than tick boxes.
What's on the menu
The themes I run most often:
- Heritage and migration β Kampong Glam, Chinatown, Little India through the lens of trade routes and migration
- Hawker culture and urban food anthropology β hawker centres as living social institutions
- Religion and multicultural Singapore β the city's Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, and Christian heritage sites
- Modern Singapore and urbanism β Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay, sustainable city planning
- Nature and biodiversity β Pulau Ubin, MacRitchie Reservoir, Gardens by the Bay's conservatories
For school groups, I work with the lead teacher to align the program with curriculum and age band. For family groups, I keep the pacing kid-friendly without dumbing the content down.
